## Biography

Jason Hoffs is a film and television producer. He established VIZ Productions and served as its president from 2008 to 2017, producing *Death Note* (2017) for Netflix under that banner.

Hoffs produced *Edge of Tomorrow* (2014) for Warner Bros. He had a long association with Steven Spielberg, serving as executive producer on *The Terminal* (2004) and as a senior production executive at Amblin Entertainment and DreamWorks SKG from 1992 to 2000. Earlier, he worked as vice president at Scott Rudin Productions and as a television programming executive at Fox. He created and co-produced *Red Surf* (1990).
