Jason Winer is an American director, producer, writer, actor and comedian. He was born on 7 December 1972 in Baltimore, Maryland, and attended Northwestern University. He is an alumnus of the Improv Olympic Theatre.

Winer directed the pilot and 22 further episodes of the ABC series *Modern Family* (2009), for which he won a Directors Guild of America Award and shared an Emmy as co-executive producer. He has directed episodes of series including *New Girl*, *Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23*, *Life in Pieces* and *Single Parents*. His feature credits include *Arthur* (2011) and *Ode to Joy* (2019). He is directing episodes of the Apple TV+ series *Brothers* (2026).
