## Biography

Jay Friedkin is a film editor. He began working in the industry as an apprentice editor on *Ordinary People* (1980).

Friedkin edited *Babe* (1995), sharing an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing and a BAFTA Award nomination for Best Editing with Marcus D'Arcy. His other credits include *Babe: Pig in the City* (1998), *Frankenstein* (2004) and *Pathfinder* (2007). Later work includes editing *Violet* (2021).
