## Biography

Jay Hernandez is an American actor. He began his career with a role in the television series *Hang Time* (1998–2000) and made his film debut opposite Kirsten Dunst in *Crazy/Beautiful* (2001). Subsequent credits include *Friday Night Lights* (2004), *Hostel* (2005) and its sequel, *Bad Moms* (2016) and *A Bad Moms Christmas* (2017), *Suicide Squad* (2016) as Chato Santana / El Diablo, and *Bright* (2017).

From 2018 to 2024 he portrayed Thomas Magnum in the CBS reboot of *Magnum P.I.*. He also provides the voice of Bonnie’s Dad in *Toy Story 4* (2019) and *Toy Story 5* (2026). Hernandez is married to actress Daniella Deutscher.
