## Biography

Jay Shuster is a production designer and art director who has worked primarily at Pixar Animation Studios. He joined the studio in 2002 as a character and environment designer on *Cars* (2006). Subsequent credits include production artist on *WALL·E* (2008) and art director on *Cars 2* (2011).

Shuster served as production designer on the short film *The Blue Umbrella* (2013) and shared production design duties on *Cars 3* (2017), heading the character design team. He has contributed to numerous other Pixar features in art department roles. He previously worked as a concept artist at Lucasfilm on the first two *Star Wars* prequels.
