She was a member of the original 1972 Toronto cast of the musical *Godspell* alongside Martin Short, Eugene Levy, Gilda Radner and others, and became an early member of the Toronto Second City troupe, appearing on the related series *SCTV*. Eastwood’s film roles include Betty in *Goin’ Down the Road* (1970), a part in *Videodrome* (1983), the waitress in *The Santa Clause* (1994), Mrs White in the *My Big Fat Greek Wedding* films (2002–2023), Mrs Borusewicz in *Chicago* (2002) and Miss Wimsey in *Hairspray* (2007).
