Jean Champion (9 March 1914 – 23 May 2001) was a French actor. He was born and died in Chalon-sur-Saône, Saône-et-Loire.

Champion appeared in around sixty films between 1962 and 1996, frequently in supporting roles. His credits include *Cléo from 5 to 7* (1962), *The Umbrellas of Cherbourg* (1964) as Aubin, *Muriel, or the Time of Return* (1963), *Le Cercle Rouge* (1970), *Day for Night* (1973) as Bertrand, the producer, *The Phantom of Liberty* (1974), *Mr. Klein* (1976), *Coup de Torchon* (1981) and *Guardian Angels* (1995). He worked with directors including Agnès Varda, Alain Resnais, Jacques Demy, François Truffaut and Jean-Pierre Melville.
