## Biography

Jean-Claude Arnaud was a French actor. He trained at the Centre d'art dramatique de la rue Blanche from 1950 and the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique from 1953 to 1956, where he won a first prize in comedy. He joined the Comédie-Française in 1956 and was a sociétaire from 1968 to 1977.

Arnaud appeared in numerous stage productions with the Comédie-Française and in television series such as *Au théâtre ce soir*. His film roles include *I've Loved You So Long* (2008), in which he played Papy Paul.
