Jean Gehret (10 January 1900 – May 1956) was a Swiss actor and director. Born in Geneva, he appeared in several films directed by Jean Renoir in the early 1930s.

His acting credits include the role of Monsieur Dugodet in *La Chienne* (1931), Vigour in *Boudu Saved from Drowning* (1932) and Émile Michonnet in *Night at the Crossroads* (1932). He also had a bit part in *Madame Bovary* (1934). From the mid-1940s he worked as a director on films including *Le Café du Cadran* (1947), *Tabusse* (1949), *Orage d'été* (1949) and *La Loterie du bonheur* (1953).
