## Biography

Jean-Louis Blondeau is a French photographer and long-time collaborator of high-wire performer Philippe Petit. He assisted with the planning and rigging of several of Petit's early illegal high-wire walks, including those at Notre Dame Cathedral and Sydney Harbour Bridge, and played a central role in the 1974 walk between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center.

Blondeau appears as himself in the 2008 documentary *Man on Wire*, which details the World Trade Center performance, and supplied many of the photographs featured in the film. He is also credited as additional crew on the 2021 documentary series *Rise and Fall: The World Trade Center*.
