## Biography

Jean-Marc Minéo is a French actor, director and screenwriter. Born in 1958, he was a high-level kung-fu athlete, six times French champion and a member of the team that won the world cup in Taiwan in 1987. He trained at the Shaolin Temple and later worked as a fight choreographer and stage choreographer, including for a Johnny Hallyday concert at the Parc des Princes.

Minéo began appearing in films in the late 1990s with small roles, including the Gunsmith in *Baise-moi* (2000) and Seated Guard in *Femme Fatale* (2002). He has acted in more than thirty films and television productions. He has also directed short films and features such as *Bangkok Revenge* (2011) and *Gates of the Sun* (2014).
