Jean-Marie Winling is a French actor. He was born on 1 January 1947 in Sète, Hérault. After studying classical literature at the University of Montpellier, he trained at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique in Paris, where he met Antoine Vitez.

He began his career in theatre in 1972 and worked with directors including Mehmet Ulusoy, Claude Risac, Jacques Rosner, Jacques Lassalle and Stuart Seide. He assisted Vitez at the Théâtre national de Chaillot and co-founded its school. His screen credits include the role of Lignière in *Cyrano de Bergerac* (1990), appearances in *Love Songs* (2007) and *The Prey* (2011), and television work such as *Nicolas Le Floch* (2008–2013).
