## Biography

Jean Redon is a French writer, screenwriter and dialogue writer. He worked as a journalist before becoming press agent and director of communications for the French office of Warner Bros.

He is best known for his only novel, *Les Yeux sans visage* (1959), published in the Angoisse series by Fleuve Noir. The book was adapted into the 1960 horror film *Eyes Without a Face*, directed by Georges Franju, for which Redon also contributed to the screenplay and adaptation.

His other screen credits include adaptations and dialogues for films such as *Back to the Wall* (1958) and *The Tiger Attacks* (1959). He is the father of short-film director Michel Redon.
