## Biography

Jean Sacha (1912–1988) was a French film editor, screenwriter and director. Born Sacha Prosper Vojen in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Alpes-Maritimes, he worked as a poster artist before entering the film industry in the late 1930s.

His editing credits include *The Novel of Werther* (1938), *There's No Tomorrow* (1939) and several 1940s French productions. Sacha edited *Othello* (1951), directed by Orson Welles, and contributed uncredited to the screenplay. He directed films such as *Fantômas* (1947), *This Man Is Dangerous* (1953) and *One Bullet Is Enough* (1954), and wrote episodes for the television series *Aux frontières du possible* (1971–1974).
