## Biography

Jean Sagal is an American television actress and director. Born on 9 October 1961 in Los Angeles, California, she began her career as an actress in the early 1980s.

She co-starred with her identical twin sister, Liz Sagal, in the sitcom *Double Trouble* (1984–85) and appeared in the film *Grease 2* (1982). She has also acted in episodes of *Quantum Leap* (1989), *21 Jump Street* (1987) and other series. Sagal and her sister served as the Doublemint Twins in a Wrigley's gum advertising campaign.

Sagal has directed episodes of several series, including *Two and a Half Men* (2003), *Just Shoot Me!* , *MADtv* and *So Little Time*. She has worked extensively as an associate director on *Two and a Half Men* and *2 Broke Girls*. She is the daughter of director Boris Sagal and the sister of actress Katey Sagal.
