Jean Toulout was a French actor who appeared in more than 100 films between 1911 and 1959. He was born in Paris on 28 September 1887 and died there on 23 October 1962.

His screen credits include *Mathias Sandorf* (1921), *Monte Cristo* (1929) and *Les Misérables* (1925). He played Le doyen du corps diplomatique (uncredited) in *The Earrings of Madame de...* (1953). Toulout was also active in theatre and worked as a director and writer.

He was married to the actress Yvette Andréyor from 1917 until their divorce in 1926.
