## Biography

Jeanne Aptekman is a French screenwriter and occasional actress. She made her screen debut as Yvette in Robert Bresson's *L'Argent* (1983).

As a screenwriter she has worked on features including *Close Enemies* (2018), for which she contributed adaptation and dialogue, *Lourdes* (2019), *Undercover* (2021), *The Gravity* (2022) and *In His Own Image* (2024). She has also written for television series and documentaries, and received a César nomination for best adaptation.

Aptekman has collaborated repeatedly with director Thierry de Peretti on projects such as *Undercover* and *In His Own Image*.
