## Biography

Jeanne Lapoirie is a French cinematographer. She graduated from the École nationale supérieure Louis-Lumière in 1984 and began her career working as a camera assistant, including with Thierry Arbogast. Her first feature as director of photography was *Wild Reeds* (1994), directed by André Téchiné.

Lapoirie has collaborated extensively with directors including Téchiné, François Ozon and Robin Campillo. Her credits include *Under the Sand* (2000), *8 Women* (2002), *Age of Uprising: The Legend of Michael Kohlhaas* (2013), *BPM (Beats per Minute)* (2017), *Benedetta* (2021) and *Last Summer* (2023). She has received three César Award nominations for Best Cinematography.
