## Biography

Jeanne Rosenberg is an American screenwriter and producer. A graduate of USC School of Cinematic Arts, she began her career in the script and continuity department on films including *Piranha* (1978), *Rock 'n' Roll High School* (1979), *The Fog* (1980), *The Howling* (1981) and *The Beastmaster* (1982).

She received her first screenplay credit on *The Black Stallion* (1979), co-written with Melissa Mathison and William D. Wittliff. Rosenberg went on to write or co-write *The Journey of Natty Gann* (1985), *White Fang* (1991), *Running Free* (1999), *China: The Panda Adventure* (2001) and *The Young Black Stallion* (2003), as well as the story for *Bambi II* (2006). She has also written for television, including episodes of the 1993 miniseries *Heidi*.
