## Biography

Jeff Canavan, also credited as Jeff W. Canavan, is an American film editor and producer. He has worked as an editor on feature films including *Save the Last Dance* (2001), *Soul Surfer* (2011), *Raise Your Voice* (2004), *Bratz* (2007), *Clockstoppers* (2002) and *The Miracle Season* (2018).

Earlier in his career he served as assistant or apprentice editor on *The Shawshank Redemption* (1994), *Star Trek: Insurrection* (1998) and *Metro* (1997). He has also acted as co-producer on titles such as *Return to the Hiding Place* (2013) and *Field of Lost Shoes* (2014), the latter of which received festival awards. Canavan is a graduate of the University of Southern California and is based in Los Angeles.
