## Biography

Jeff Malmberg is an American documentary filmmaker and editor. His debut feature as director, *Marwencol* (2010), won the SXSW Grand Jury Prize and more than two dozen other awards. He co-directed and edited the series *Shangri-La* (2019) and received a Grammy nomination for the work.

Malmberg directed *Spettacolo* (2017), for which he received a Guggenheim Fellowship, and *Mickey: The Story of a Mouse* (2022). He edited Morgan Neville's *Won't You Be My Neighbor?* (2018), which earned a Critics' Choice Documentary Award for Best Editing shared with Aaron Wickenden. He has also directed *The Saint of Second Chances* (2023).
