## Biography

Jeff Morrow (born Leslie Irving Morrow) was an American actor. He was born in New York City on 13 January 1907 and died in Canoga Park, California, on 26 December 1993.

Educated at the Pratt Institute, Morrow worked as a commercial artist before turning to acting. He appeared on stage from 1927, initially as Irving Morrow, and performed in numerous Broadway productions, including works with Katharine Cornell and Maurice Evans. After serving in the US Army during the Second World War, he continued in theatre and radio.

Morrow began his film career with the role of Paulus in *The Robe* (1953). He appeared in films such as *This Island Earth* (1955), *The Creature Walks Among Us* (1956) and *The Giant Claw* (1957), and made guest appearances in television series including *The Twilight Zone* (1959 and 1985). In later years he worked as a commercial illustrator.
