Jeff Peterson is a Hawaiian slack-key guitarist and composer. He has recorded additional music for the soundtrack of *The Descendants* (2011), including the track "Hawaiian Skies", and five of his songs appear in the film.

Peterson has released several solo albums of slack-key music and won multiple Na Hōkū Hanohano Awards. He received Grammy nominations for his work and has collaborated with other Hawaiian artists; his music has also featured on Grammy-winning recordings in the Hawaiian category.
