## Biography

Jeffrey Bell is an American television writer and producer. He began his career writing for three seasons of *The X-Files* before joining *Angel* as a writer, director and producer, becoming showrunner for the final two seasons.

Bell served as executive producer and writer on *Alias*, writing four episodes and directing three between 2005 and 2006. He later worked as executive producer or showrunner on series including *Day Break*, *Harper's Island* and *Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.*. He studied at the University of Cincinnati and received an MFA from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television in 1990.
