## Biography

Jeffrey Kleiser is a visual effects supervisor and pioneer of computer animation. He received an early credit for special optical effects on *The Blue Lagoon* (1980), on which he also appeared as an actor (credited as Jeffrey Means).

Kleiser contributed to early digital effects on *Tron* (1982) and later served as animation supervisor on *Clear and Present Danger* (1994) and senior visual effects supervisor on *Slither* (2006). Other credits include *Stargate* (1994), *X2: X-Men United* (2003) and *X-Men: The Last Stand* (2006). With Diana Walczak he co-founded Synthespian Studios and has directed computer-animated projects for theme park attractions.
