Jenna Bans is an American screenwriter and television producer. She began her career as a staff writer on the 2004 television film *Fearless* before joining *Desperate Housewives* (2004–2007) as a writer and rising to executive story editor.

Bans wrote and produced episodes of *Grey's Anatomy* (2008–2012) and *Private Practice* (2007). She later served as a writer and co-executive producer on *Scandal* (2012–2014). She created the series *Off the Map* (2011), *The Family* (2016), *Good Girls* (2018–2021) and *Grosse Pointe Garden Society* (2025).

Bans is married to writer and producer Justin Spitzer.
