## Biography

Jennifer Liao is a Canadian director, writer and producer working in film and television. She directed two episodes of the first season of the sci-fi horror series *FROM* (2022).

Her other directing credits include episodes of *Murdoch Mysteries* (2022–2024), *Blood and Water* (2018), for which she also wrote, *Two Sentence Horror Stories* (2021) and the television films *A Sugar & Spice Holiday* (2020) and *A Big Fat Family Christmas* (2022). She made her feature directorial debut with *End of Days, Inc.* (2015), on which she also served as producer. Liao produced the feature *Sex After Kids* (2013) and is an alumna of the TIFF Writers' Studio. She received a Directors Guild of Canada Award nomination for *A Sugar & Spice Holiday*.
