## Biography

Jennifer Westfeldt is an American actress, screenwriter, director and producer. Born on 2 February 1970 in Guilford, Connecticut, she graduated from Yale University and began her career in New York theatre before moving into film and television.

She co-wrote and starred in the independent film *Kissing Jessica Stein* (2002) and wrote, directed and starred in *Friends with Kids* (2012). Her television roles include appearances in *Grey's Anatomy* (2009), *24* (2010) and *Younger* (2017–2021). She made her Broadway debut in the 2003 revival of *Wonderful Town*. Westfeldt co-wrote the screenplay for the 2024 film *The Idea of You*.
