## Biography

Jenny Bicks is an American screenwriter and television producer. She grew up in Manhattan and attended the Brearley School.

She wrote for the HBO series *Sex and the City* (1998–2004) and created the ABC series *Men in Trees* (2006–2008). Her film screenplays include *What a Girl Wants* (2003), *Rio 2* (2014) and, with Bill Condon, *The Greatest Showman* (2017), on which she is also credited for the story.

Bicks has received a Primetime Emmy Award and Producers Guild of America Awards for her work on *Sex and the City*.
