## Biography

Jeremy Tarcher (1932–2015) was an American writer and television producer. He co-wrote the *Star Trek* episode 'The Lights of Zetar' (1969) with his wife, the puppeteer Shari Lewis.

Tarcher worked on children's television programmes including *The Shari Show* (1975–1976), which he created and produced, and *The Charlie Horse Music Pizza* (1998–1999). He later founded the publishing company Jeremy P. Tarcher Inc., specialising in mind, body and spiritual titles.
