## Biography

Jeri Emmett was an American television writer active in the 1960s. She received teleplay credits on four episodes of the series *The Fugitive* (1966–1967), as well as two episodes of *Iron Horse* (1967) and one episode each of *Mannix* (1967) and *The Bold Ones: The Protectors* (1969, as Betty Deveraux).

Born in Grants Pass, Oregon, Emmett worked as a Playboy Bunny in Los Angeles before turning to writing. In 1966 she published the memoir *Point Your Tail in the Right Direction*, recounting her experiences at the Playboy Club. She was married to producer and writer Jack Laird from 1964 until their divorce in 1974.
