His best-known film roles include Wat Dabney in *Jabberwocky* (1977), Benson in *Time Bandits* (1981), and Kramer in *The Element of Crime* (1984). Other credits include the waiter in the "Midnight Mess" segment of *The Vault of Horror* (1973), the landlord in *Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell* (1974), and the Boleyn Axeman (uncredited) in *Anne of the Thousand Days* (1969).
