Jerome Benton (born 19 September 1962) is an American actor and musician. He is best known for his work with the band The Time and for appearances in films associated with Prince.

Benton played Jerome in *Purple Rain* (1984) and reprised the role in *Graffiti Bridge* (1990). He also appeared as Tricky in *Under the Cherry Moon* (1986) and had a role in *Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back* (2001). He is the half-brother of musician Terry Lewis.
