Jerome Hellman was an American film producer. He began his career as a talent agent in New York before turning to producing feature films in the 1960s.

His credits include *The World of Henry Orient* (1964), *A Fine Madness* (1966), *Midnight Cowboy* (1969), *The Day of the Locust* (1975), *Coming Home* (1978) and *The Mosquito Coast* (1986). He also directed *Promises in the Dark* (1979). *Midnight Cowboy* won the Academy Award for Best Picture; *Coming Home* received a nomination in the same category. Hellman made a single screen appearance, as Gary Burns in Hal Ashby's *Being There* (1979).

Hellman was born in New York City on 4 September 1928 and died on 26 May 2021.
