## Biography

Jerome Schwartz is an American television writer and producer. He was born in Portland, Oregon, and grew up in Bellingham, Washington. He graduated from Whitman College with a double major in theatre and English literature.

Schwartz began his career as a clerical assistant on the NBC series *The Office*. He later worked as a writers' production assistant and research assistant on the CBS series *Cold Case*. In 2010 he co-wrote the film *Friction* with director Cullen Hoback. He went on to write episodes for the series *Chase* and *Zero Hour*.

Schwartz contributed to the ABC series *Once Upon a Time in Wonderland* as executive story editor and writer. He subsequently joined the main series *Once Upon a Time* from its fourth season, serving as writer and in producer roles including co-executive producer, and wrote twenty episodes. He has also written for *Emergence*, *The Fix* and *La Brea*.
