## Biography

Jerry Colonna was an American actor, comedian and musician. He voiced the March Hare in the Walt Disney animated film *Alice in Wonderland* (1951). He also provided narration for the 'Casey at the Bat' segment of *Make Mine Music* (1946).

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Colonna began his career as a trombonist in orchestras and dance bands. He later became known for his work on Bob Hope's radio programme and appeared in several Hope films, including *Road to Singapore* (1940) as Achilles Bombanassa and *Road to Rio* (1947). Other credits include *The Road to Hong Kong* (1962) and *Meet Me in Las Vegas* (1956).

Colonna died in 1986.
