## Biography

Jerry Torre is an American actor and sculptor. He is best known for his appearance as a handyman in the 1975 Maysles brothers documentary *Grey Gardens*, in which he was nicknamed 'the Marble Faun' by Edith 'Little Edie' Bouvier Beale.

Born in 1955 in Brooklyn, New York, Torre later appeared in the 2006 follow-up *The Beales of Grey Gardens*. He has also worked as a sculptor, with exhibitions in New York galleries, and was portrayed in the 2006 Broadway musical *Grey Gardens*.
