## Biography

Jerry Wanek is a production designer, producer and director. Born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, he studied Fine Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

He is best known for his long collaboration on the television series *Supernatural* (2005–2020), serving as production designer from the first season, co-producer from 2008 and director of three episodes. Other production design credits include *Dark Angel* (2000), *The Andromeda Strain* (2008) and *Superman & Lois* (2021).

Wanek received a Primetime Emmy nomination for *The Andromeda Strain* and four Art Directors Guild nominations, including for *Dark Angel*.
