Jerry Young (1916–2015) was a film and television editor. He worked on feature films including *Caught* (1949, as assistant film editor under the name Jerome Young), *Plunder Road* (1957, as Jerry S. Young), *Private Property* (1960) and *A Cold Wind in August* (1961).

His television credits include editing episodes of *The Fugitive* (1963), *The Invaders* (1967), *Cannon* (1971), *The Streets of San Francisco* (1972–1976), *T. J. Hooker* (1982–1986) and *MacGyver* (1985). He also edited the miniseries *Shōgun* (1980). Young received three Primetime Emmy nominations for his editing work.
