Jesse Alexander is an American television writer and producer. Originally from Santa Barbara, California, he attended Sarah Lawrence College and the AFI Conservatory. He began collaborating with J. J. Abrams, a friend from Sarah Lawrence, on projects including *Alias* (2001), where he served as executive producer and writer across its five seasons.

Alexander was co-executive producer and writer on the first three seasons of *Heroes* (2006). He worked as staff writer and producer on *Hannibal* (2013). His other credits include co-executive producer on the first season of *Lost* (2004), for which he shared a Primetime Emmy Award, showrunner on the second season of *American Gods* (2017), and contributions to *Star Trek: Discovery* (2017). He also wrote the screenplay for the film *Eight Legged Freaks* (2002).
