## Biography

Jesse Andrews is an American novelist and screenwriter. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he graduated from Harvard University with a degree in the history of art and architecture in 2004.

His debut novel, *Me and Earl and the Dying Girl* (2012), was adapted into a 2015 feature film for which he wrote the screenplay. He also wrote the screenplay for *Every Day* (2018) and the story and screenplay for the Pixar films *Luca* (2021) and *Hoppers* (2026).
