Jesse Beaton is a film producer whose credits include *One False Move* (1992), *Devil in a Blue Dress* (1995), *One True Thing* (1998), *High Crimes* (2002), *Out of Time* (2003) and *Bless Me, Ultima* (2012). She has also produced the HBO miniseries *Laurel Avenue* (1993).

She began her career in film marketing and distribution, working at Island Alive on titles including *Kiss of the Spider Woman* (1985) and *She's Gotta Have It* (1986). Beaton became an independent producer in 1988 and has frequently collaborated with director Carl Franklin, to whom she has been married since 2000. They are partners in Monarch Productions.
