## Biography

Jesse Vint is an American actor, film director and screenwriter. Born Jesse Lee Vint III on 21 September 1940 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he attended the University of Oklahoma before training at the Actors Studio in Los Angeles alongside his brother, actor Alan Vint.

Vint's early film roles include a lieutenant in *Little Big Man* (1970) and Andy Wolf in *Silent Running* (1972). He appeared in *Chinatown* (1974), *Earthquake* (1974) and *Macon County Line* (1974), the latter co-starring his brother. Later credits include *Forbidden World* (1982) and television appearances such as *Knight Rider* (1982), *The A-Team* (1983) and *Grimm* (2011).

Vint has also written and directed films, including *Black Oak Conspiracy* (1977). He is a lifetime voting member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and received the Portland Indie Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016.
