## Biography

Jesús Olmo is a Spanish screenwriter. He studied Information Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid and film direction at the TAI school. His early credits include co-writing the short films *Esposados* (1996), directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and nominated for an Academy Award, and *Ruleta* (1999).

Olmo co-wrote the screenplay for the horror film *28 Weeks Later* (2007), directed by Fresnadillo, with Rowan Joffé and Enrique López Lavigne. He later wrote the screenplay for *Cold Skin* (2017), an adaptation of the novel by Albert Sánchez Piñol directed by Xavier Gens. He has also directed and edited short films and written novels.
