Jesús Salvador Treviño is an American television director of Mexican descent. Born on 26 March 1946 in El Paso, Texas, he began his career in the late 1960s as a student activist documenting the Chicano civil rights movement. He directed several PBS documentaries on Latino and Chicano history and issues, including *Yo Soy Chicano* (1972).

Treviño directed the feature film *Raíces de Sangre* (1978) and the television drama *Seguín* (1982). From the 1990s he directed numerous episodes of prime-time series, including *NYPD Blue* (1993), *ER* (1994), *Babylon 5* (1994), *Star Trek: Deep Space Nine* (1993), *Star Trek: Voyager* (1995), *Prison Break* (2005), *Criminal Minds* (2005) and *Bones* (2005). He is a member of the Directors Guild of America and has served on its National Board and as co-founder of its Latino Committee.
