## Biography

Jim Barnes is an American television writer and producer. He has written episodes of *The Walking Dead* (2010), including several in seasons 10 and 11, and served as co-executive producer on the series from 2019 to 2022. He also contributed teleplays and stories for the programme.

Barnes has written for other series including *Timeless* (2016), *Gotham* (2014), *Falling Skies* (2011), *Revolution* (2012) and *Nikita* (2010). He has held producing roles on *Timeless* and *Gotham*. In 2021 AMC Studios signed him to a multi-year overall deal to develop and produce new series.

The son of civil rights attorneys, Barnes is a graduate of the University of Michigan and an alumnus of the Warner Bros. Workshop.
