## Biography

Jim Bernstein is an American screenwriter and producer. He is a graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts.

He began writing for television in the mid-1990s and worked on *Family Guy* (1999) as a staff writer and story editor. His other credits include writing and producing for *American Dad!* (2005), *Phineas and Ferb* (2007) and *Milo Murphy's Law* (2016). He co-created the Disney XD series *Mighty Med* (2013).

Bernstein won an Emmy Award in 2021 for Outstanding Writing Team for a Daytime Animated Program for *Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe* (2020). He has received further Emmy nominations for his work on *American Dad!* and *Phineas and Ferb*.
