## Biography

Jim Burke is an American film producer. He graduated from the University of Minnesota and was a founding member of Rysher Entertainment. He later served as President of Production at Focus Features and was President of Ad Hominem Enterprises, a production company shared with Alexander Payne and Jim Taylor.

Burke has produced or co-produced films including *Kingpin* (1996), *Election* (1999), *Walking Tall* (2004), *The Descendants* (2011), *Cedar Rapids* (2011), *Downsizing* (2017) and *Green Book* (2018). He received an Academy Award for Best Picture as one of the producers of *Green Book*.
