## Biography

Jim Michaels is an American television producer born on 12 September 1965 in Chicago, Illinois. He began his career with producing credits on the NBC series *Midnight Caller* and served as co-producer on the NBC drama *Reasonable Doubts*.

Michaels was co-producer on the ABC series *Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman* for three seasons from 1993. His later credits include *Odyssey 5*, *Dr. Vegas* and the pilot for *The Guardian*. He produced the series *Everybody Hates Chris* (2005–2009). From 2009 he joined the production team on *Supernatural*, serving as producer and co-executive producer through its final season in 2020. He was executive producer on the 2018 documentary *Remember the Sultana*.
