Jim Muir is a Scottish actor and writer. He appears as Various in the BBC Scotland sketch series *Burnistoun* (2010–2012).

He is also known for ensemble roles in *Frankie Boyle's Tramadol Nights* (2010) and writing credits on *Distraction* (2003–2004), *Stand Up for the Week* (2011) and *Impractical Jokers* (2014). Muir performs under the stage name the Reverend Obadiah Steppenwolfe III and won the Chortle Award for Breakthrough Act in 2003.
